Pequod

Hello,

I wanted to do some shameless self-promotion here. My story The Wreck of the Whaling Ship Pequod—available on this site—was written several years ago when the Dreamers—the sons and daughters of illegal emigrants to the United State—were first being persecuted. Unfortunately, thie persecution is on-going. I really wish this wasn't so, and that my story was no longer relevant. But it is, so please read it and leave me a comment if you want. It is not about whaling in any concrete sense.
